Boys’ basketball: Harvard-Westlake topples Alemany

Erik Swoope had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Damiene Cain had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks to lead Harvard-Westlake to an 82-58 Mission League victory tonight over Alemany.

Swoope shot an impressive 12-for-14 from the field and Cain made nine of 12 shots. Nate Bulluck added 18 points and Michael Attanasio had eight assists for the Wolverines.

Harvard-Westlake will find out far it has come since its slow start on Monday when it plays host to Loyola, ranked No. 3 in the Southland by The Times.

In another Mission League game tonight, St. Francis edged Chaminade, 57-55.
