Yes, Huntington Beach Edison figures to start out as No. 1 in Southern California when the baseball season begins, but San Juan Capistrano JSerra shouldn’t be overlooked.

The Lions won their first Trinity League championship last season, finished 22-7 and have lots of returnees, including a highly touted junior outfielder, Tyler Krause, who transferred in from Arizona and has his own web page.

UCLA-bound junior Austin Hedges is switching from second base to catcher. The Lions also have two Cal State Fullerton-bound players in senior pitcher Grahamm Wiest and junior outfielder Clay Williamson.
