The entire San Gabriel High girls’ basketball coaching staff has been fired after an incident during a junior varsity game against El Monte on Dec. 9, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The school’s athletic director, Patty Hill, confirmed the news Monday but refused to provide details and referred questions to the Alhambra Unified School District, according to the newspaper.

San Gabriel High’s football coach, Keith Jones, took over as the girls’ varsity head coach on an interim basis, but has since been replaced by Jennifer White, whom the Alhambra school district cleared to take over as varsity coach, the newspaper reported.
