The girls’ basketball team at Los Angeles Belmont is launching a community service project from Feb. 1-5 to help the community become more aware of breast cancer.

As part of the program, Belmont’s big Northern League game against Marshall at 5:30 p.m. at Belmont will be used to help raise funds for the Kay Yow Foundation for ‘Play for the Cure.’
