Girls’ Basketball: Canyon Springs will play Harvard-Westlake tomorrow in a final at TOC

Canyon Springs defeated Fairfield Vanden, 71-52, tonight in a Gray division semifinal at the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Tear’a Laudermill scored 20 points, Sophia Ederaine had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Jasmine Johnson contributed 17 points for the Cougars.

Canyon Springs will play in the championship game tomorrow against Harvard-Westlake, which defeated Bellarmine-Jefferson, 69-47, tonight in a semifinal.

‘Our strategy will be to play as we always do, pressure the ballhandlers and grab as many rebounds as we can,’ said Canyon Springs Coach Gail Hale.
