Football: Woods can’t wait to face Oaks Christian

It has been a year of waiting for Gardena Serra receiver Robert Woods. Waiting to get another opportunity at Westlake Village Oaks Christian, which beat the Cavaliers, 63-28, in last year’s Northwest Division championship game.

Serra is 13-0 and gets another chance to face the Lions (13-0) on Friday. Oaks Christian has a 34-game winning streak and has won six consecutive section titles.

Woods talked about the team’s motivation, his growing up these last four years and his college recruiting situation (he’s committed to USC).
