Football: Third time is not the charm

December 12, 2009 |  8:21 pm

After punting from its own 45-yard line, Servite recovered a fumble committed by Edison's Luke Eddy on the Chargers' 20-yard line

And all the Friars could muster was a 31-yard field goal attempt by junior kicker Connor Loftus. The attempt was no good, and Servite still has a 3-0 lead with 7:38 remaining in the second quarter.
