Anaheim Servite fans should be hoping for monsoon conditions for this weekend’s CIF state championship bowl games because their football team loves rain based on its performance in Saturday night’s 16-6 victory over Huntington Beach Edison.

‘Have fun,’ according to Coach Troy Thomas.

‘We just embraced it,’ Thomas said. ‘We could be upset or have fun with it. We talked about how when you’re a kid, what does your mom say when it starts raining? You have to come inside. Hey, we said you don’t have to come in.’
