What is this, a pass, punt and kick competition?

Servite junior kicker Connor Loftus has five field-goal attempts, and only one of them was successful. He kicked two field goals through the uprights, but his 25-yard attempt was waived off because of an illegal shift penalty.

Loftus attempted another one -- this one from 31 yards -- but the kick was blocked by Edison senior defensive back Jeff Trojan with 2:50 remaining in the second quarter.
