Football: Serra wants to play Oaks Christian

It’s pretty clear that Gardena Serra (13-0) has wanted to play Westlake Village Oaks Christian for the Northwest Division football championship, and the Cavaliers took care of business Friday night with a 49-27 semifinal victory over Santa Maria St. Joseph.
Now, it’s up to Oaks Christian to set up the matchup. Oaks Christian (12-0) has to beat host Los Angeles Cathedral tonight.
‘We’ve been dreaming about getting them again since the end of last season,’ Serra defensive back Robert Woods told the Daily Breeze.
Oaks Christian is seeking its seventh consecutive section title.
