Football: Bill Lake, former coach, dies at 67

Bill Lake, who coached football and wrestling at Granada Hills, Van Nuys, Sylmar, Manual Arts and St. Genevieve, died on Dec. 6 at his home in Windsor, Colo., after suffering a heart attack. He was 67.

Lake retired from teaching and coaching five years ago at Granada Hills and moved to Colorado. He was known for his dedication to wrestling and coaching offensive linemen.

He is survived by his wife, Pam, and daughter, Lindsay. A memorial service may take place after the first of the year.
