Mira Costa took a huge gamble and it paid off.
Kyle Demarco’s quarterback sneak on fourth-and-1 at the Mira Costa 45-yard line gained just enough to move the chains and the Mustangs appear to be on their way to the Southern Section Western Division championship.

Mira Costa got a fresh set of downs, but a costly delay of game penalty on third down forced the Mustangs to punt with 26 seconds left. Alemany will get the ball back, however the Warriors have burned all of their timeouts.
