Boys' basketball: Santa Monica advances

Santa Monica (3-3) moved into the semifinals of the Beverly Hills tournament with a 62-58 victory over L.A. University. Anthony Harris had 23 points for University (3-4). Santa Monica will play Calabasas in one semifinal.

In another quarterfinal game, Renaissance defeated Crespi, 63-37.
