Woodland Hills Taft, ranked No. 2 by The Times, came away with a 53-46 victory over Oakland Bishop O’Dowd in a quarterfinal game of the National Division in the MaxPreps Holiday Classic in San Diego.

Bryce Jones scored 14 points and Pierson Williams had 13 points for the Toreadors (10-1).
