Boys' basketball: It's a Fairfax-LB Poly semifinal

Los Angeles Fairfax received 14 points from Donte McFrazier, 13 points and 11 rebounds from Laik Carter and 10 points from Raymond Barry to defeat Santa Monica, 50-35, in a quarterfinal game Thursday of the Redondo tournament.

Fairfax (2-0) will play Long Beach Poly (2-0) Friday at 7 p.m. The other semifinal matches Gardena Serra and Compton at 8:20 p.m.
