Boys’ basketball: Erik Swoope gets 37 points for Harvard-Westlake

North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake has turned to senior Erik Swoope in the Desert Heat tournament in Palm Springs. He had 37 points and 13 rebounds in an 86-72 victory over Rancho Cucamonga.

The Wolverines (7-4) will play Foothill from Henderson, Nv. in the championship game of their division on Wednesday.
