Boys’ basketball: Crenshaw is making progress

While Westchester, Taft and Fairfax continue to bring respect to the City Section in boys’ basketball, Crenshaw is also ready to join the elite teams.
The Cougars improved to 8-2 earlier this week with a 78-62 victory over Maranatha Christian in the championship game of the San Diego Lincoln tournament.
The Cougars have been led by All-City guard Reynaul Baker and freshman sensation Isaac Hamilton. The team has picked up several players off the 14-1 football team.
