Baseball: Funeral for ex-Sylmar coach Carl Brio

Carl Brio, who coached high school baseball at Los Angeles Lincoln and Sylmar and at the junior college level, died on Nov. 26 in Glendale. He was 72.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 7324 Apperson Way, Tujunga. He is survived by his wife, Linda.
