Girls’ soccer: Brawl breaks out in Rhode Island

It’s not too often you hear about brawls breaking out in Rhode Island.

Unfortunately, that’s what happened in Providence, R.I., on Sunday when a couple of girls soccer teams decided to let the fists fly during a state championship game. It was a pretty vicious scrum, but it was only the undercard to another brawl that erupted in the stands during the post-game awards ceremony.
