Manny Ayon gives a lift to Roosevelt

November 6, 2009 |  9:05 pm

The versatile Manny Ayon, who plays a number of positions for Los Angeles Roosevelt, was put in at quarterback to start the third quarter, and he has given the Roughriders a huge lift.

Ayon broke off a 43-yard run to the Garfield 10-yard line. Then he ran five yards for a touchdown, and Roosevelt has a 14-9 lead over Garfield with 6:38 left in the third quarter.
