Football: Venice is No. 3 seed

Venice (9-1) beat out West Adams, San Pedro, Taft and L.A. Jordan for the No. 3 seed in the City Section playoffs. That means the Gondoliers wouldn't have to play top-seeded Crenshaw until the championship game at the Coliseum.
