Taft linebacker-running back Lucky Radley has given what Toreadors Coach Matt Kerstetter termed a ‘soft verbal’ commitment to North Carolina after visiting Chapel Hill.

‘He’s leaning toward them,’ Kerstetter said of the Tar Heels.

Radley is also considering South Carolina, Colorado State and Boise State, Kerstetter said.

The senior who gained his eligibility midway through the season after transferring from Agoura has made a big impact in recent weeks, rushing for more than 100 yards in back-to-back games against Birmingham and Cleveland. He also had a 92-yard punt return against Cleveland.

‘He really kind of rounded into form two weeks ago,’ Kerstetter said. ‘Now he’s doing pretty well.’
