If Lucky Radley is lucky, he’ll get some sleep tonight. Perhaps somewhere over the Rocky Mountains.

The Taft running back-linebacker said he is scheduled to take a red-eye flight to North Carolina after the Toreadors play host to West Valley League rival Birmingham and then have his first official visit with the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.

Radley averaged 9.6 yards per carry in his first four games with Taft after gaining eligibility as a transfer last month.

I hope Radley makes time to go to Time Out Chicken and Biscuits on Franklin Street, a late-night haunt that captures the essence of campus life at North Carolina.
