Football: Narbonne takes 7-0 lead

With USC Coach Pete Carroll and Washington counterpart Steve Sarkisian watching from the sideline, Narbonne has taken a 7-0 lead over host L.A. Jordan in a first-round City Section playoff game midway through the first quarter.

It looked like Jordan was going to hold Narbonne to a field-goal attempt until the Bulldogs jumped offsides to set up a fourth-and-short opportunity, which the Gauchos converted. Narbonne eventually scored on quarterback Chad Dashnaw’s one-yard plunge.
