Football: Loyola search begins next month

Lots of people will be following the search for a new football coach at Los Angeles Loyola because it is considered one of the best jobs in the Southland.

Athletic Director Chris O'Donnell said the school doesn't intend to post the job opening until after the football banquet the first week in December. Then it will accept applications.

But a final decision might not come until late February.

Meanwhile, interim Coach Adam Guerra, who figures to be a candidate for the permanent position, will continue to run the program with a weight training class.
