Bishop Amat held Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on its opening drive of the third quarter and then drove 39 yards for a touchdown on Jay Anderson's three-yard scoring run to take a 17-7 lead with 8:19 left in the third quarter.
A Bishop Amat win could force a three-way tie for first place in the Serra League.
