Darien Johnson recovered a Victor Blackwell fumble with 20 seconds left on the Bishop Amat 41-yard line, and the Lancers held on for a 28-21 victory over Mater Dei in a first-round Pac-5 game.

Bishop Amat will face Lakewood next Friday in the quarterfinals.
