Boys’ basketball: Another national ranking for Westchester

Defending City Section and state Division I champion Westchester is getting lots of love from the people who produce national boys’ basketball rankings. ESPN RISE has the Comets ranked No. 6 in their preseason poll.

Westchester’s strength is its guards in Jordin Mayes, Kareem Jamar and Denzel Douglas. It’s the best trio in the City, if not the Southland.
