Football: Oaks Christian voted into Marmonte League

Small schools sports power Westlake Village Oaks Christian has been put into the Marmonte League for all sports effective with the 2010-11 school year after a vote of Northern Area league reps on Thursday in Long Beach, with Calabasas moving to the Tri-Valley League. The vote was 7-1 in favor of the proposal.

Ventura, Oaks Christian and Calabasas are immediately appealing the decision, so that's what is going on now to see if the entire Southern Section Council will agree to hear the appeal and consider new proposals.
