Football: Montana presented with bowl jersey

Montana5 Oaks Christian senior quarterback Nick Montana was presented with his jersey for the Under Armour All-America Game on Thursday in a ceremony at the school.

Montana, the senior bound for Washington, is among those selected to compete in the all-star game on Jan. 2 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound quarterback has completed 60% of his passes for 1,162 yards and 17 touchdowns with five interceptions for the Lions, ranked No. 2 in the Southland by The Times.

Oaks Christian (7-0 overall, 2-0 Tri-Valley League) will play host to Oak Park (3-4, 2-0) on Friday.
