Football: Canada brothers still ineligible

It was an appeals panel, not CIF Executive Director Marie Ishida, that refused to overturn a decision by Southern Section Commissioner Jim Staunton to declare brothers Jordan and Jamie Canada ineligible to play football at West Covina South Hills after declaring it was an athletically motivated transfer from Duarte.

With their appeals now exhausted, the Canada brothers’ last option is to go to court and seek an injunction.
