Baseball: Fairfax pitcher trying to impress

Anthony Giannelli, a senior pitcher at Los Angeles Fairfax who’s deaf, is headed to Peoria, Ariz., next week as a member of the Under Armour Senior national baseball team to show what he can do in a wood bat tournament before college and pro scouts.
Giannelli is expected to be one of the top pitchers in the Western League this spring.
