Boys' basketball: Another McKnight in Orange County

Clay McKnight, the video coordinator for UCLA the last three years and the son of Santa Ana Mater Dei Coach Gary McKnight, has accepted the position of head coach at Anaheim Fairmont Prep.

McKnight, who played at Mater Dei and has coached at Syracuse, UC Riverside and USC, said the time was right to try high school coaching.

"It's a good chance to teach kids," he said.
