Football: Shreve gets offer from Colorado State

Redlands East Valley quarterback Tyler Shreve has received a scholarship offer from Colorado State, according to Rivals.com

The versatile Shreve, who passed for more than 1,500 yards and rushed for more than 500 last season for the Wildcats, told the recruiting website that he was also being recruited by Oregon, Arizona State and Texas El-Paso, but those schools were going to wait until seeing him play this fall before extending a scholarship offer.

Shreve, considered by some to be a mid-level major Division I prospect, was plagued by injuries for much of last season.
