Football: Radley confirms he’s headed to Taft

In a text message to The Times late tonight, well-traveled linebacker-defensive back Lucky Radley confirmed he is headed to Taft.

‘Taft is official!’ Radley wrote.

Radley had attempted to enroll at Taft last season before the City Section refused to approve the move because of a misunderstanding regarding an eligibility issue. Radley went on to play for Agoura but apparently will join the Toreadors after his family moved back into the San Fernando Valley.

If he is cleared to play, Radley makes Taft a favorite to challenge Crenshaw and Narbonne for the City title.
