Football: Oaks Christian's Kohler picks Washington
Washington Coach Steve Sarkisian has come away with his best recruit yet from Southern California, getting a commitment Monday from Westlake Village Oaks Christian offensive tackle Erik Kohler, according to Coach Bill Redell.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Kohler picked the Huskies over Notre Dame. Kohler is the second Oaks Christian player to commit to Washington, joining quarterback Nick Montana. Add to that, Woodland Hills Taft defensive lineman Brent Williams has committed to the Huskies.
Kohler is a big-time recruit who also received strong interest from UCLA. He'll be a three-year starter for the Lions.

Good for the huskies...their return to dominance (or at least a factor in the PacTen) only elevates the national perception of the conference of champions!!
