Baseball: Los Angeles falls in RBI World Series

Crenshaw pitcher Kenji Corbisiero of the Los Angeles Senior RBI team took a two-hitter into the sixth inning today before Santo Domingo rallied for a 5-3 victory that was aided by several errors.

Los Angeles begins play Saturday in the single-elimination phase of the RBI World Series in Jupiter, Fla., with the championship game Sunday. In games played at 8 a.m. EDT, Los Angeles (4th West) plays Tampa (1st East) and Los Angeles/UYA (1st West) plays Jersey City (4th East), with the winners advancing to semifinal games later in the day.
