Football: Loyola's Barr reveals his five favorite schools

July 2, 2009 |  7:33 pm

Rivals.com has pulled off a scoop, getting Los Angeles Loyola running back Anthony Barr to mention the five schools he's interested in: Notre Dame, USC, UCLA, Florida and California.

Barr could end up being a linebacker or safety in college, but as a high school running back who's 6-4, 230 pounds, it's difficult to find somebody better.

He continues to get faster and stronger.

He starts at USC as a freshman. First two years as a full back, and then two years as a halfback. he wins the Heisman as junior and senior.

Barr's dad and mom attended ND and his uncle and dad were starting running backs on the 88 National Champs, he will attend ND. The last thing he would want to do is go play FB for the cheating condoms.

Um, Barr isn't going to play fullback and he's not going to play for USC.

I think he's a great fit at Florida and Oregon. He would be a perfect back in Oregon's spread system. Oregon would be insane to play against with the spread and Barr at TB b/c of his size and strength and speed he is a threat in a spread O. He can pound it inside effectively and run around the edges as well.

Anthony is a RB, and a good one, I just dont get why anyone in there right mind would not want this guy at RB, he has speed power and is only going to get bigger and better, only name i can think of who he sort of reminds me of is Dickerson. the sky is the limit for Anthony, just give him the ball.
