Baseball: Mater Dei outfielder makes college commitment

Jacob Medina, a senior outfielder at Santa Ana Mater Dei, has committed to Loyola Marymount, Coach Burt Call said.

He’s the first of the Monarchs’ talented senior class to finalize his college choices. Still undecided are talented shortstop Derek Campbell and All-Area outfielder Cory Hahn.
