Girls’ diving: Denison named All-American

Maggie Denison, a freshman diver at Immaculate Heart, has been selected an All-American by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Assn.

The honor recognizes Denison as being in the top 1% of all high school divers in the country. Of the 130 girls receiving the award, only 12 are freshmen.

Denison placed second in the Southern Section Division IV and advanced to the Masters Meet, where she placed fifth. She is expected to compete in Nationals next month in New Mexico.
