Boys' basketball: Thousand Oaks' Tiffin is a big man to watch

June 21, 2009 | 12:59 pm

Alex Tiffin, a 6-foot-7 senior forward from Thousand Oaks, might be the best basketball player from Ventura County. He scored 25 points Saturday in the Crespi tournament against Santa Ana Mater Dei.

He has scholarship offers from UC Davis, Drake and San Jose State. He's expected to attend a camp at Gonzaga this summer.
