Coach Seymore will be forever remembered and missed. My most fondest and personal memory of the Coach is when my son, Lionel, was murdered in 1995. Coach Seymore came by the house to give his condolences. Now, almost 14 years later, I am giving my upmost of condolences to his family. Thank you Coach for your Kindness, Joy, Love & Happiness you not only shared with your family but with Compton High and the Compton Unified School District.
With Much Love & Respect,
Vicky D. Lindsey c/75
Pam Carolina c/75

Coach Seymore was my HERO, MY ROCK, MY CONFIDANT, MY INSPIRATION, MY FRIEND and most importantly MY FATHER. We were as close as a father and and daughter could be. My dad was there for me through my childhood, school, marriage, childbirth and through happy and difficult times. He was commited to Compton High School for 40 years. His passion was track but he loved his church even more. I shared my dad with many students and athletes and it makes me feel really good to hear so many positive comments and stories about him. I don't know how I am going make it without him! But, one thing that I know is that he's in Heaven coaching the angels. I will always love you Daddy! (Correction: He was 70 years old).
