Some of the top college-bound seniors from around the country will play in the inaugural All-American Academic All-Star Classic, a pair of games on May 9 at Citizen's Bank Arena in Ontario.

The participants have all committed to play at four-year colleges or universities starting next fall and the North, South, East and West rosters comprise players who will play in those respective regions.

The West roster includes Rialto's Andrew Bock (who is headed to Creighton), Windward's Anthony Stover (UCLA), Village Christian's Bak Bak (California), Etiwanda's Jordan Finn (Air Force), Campbell Hall's Keegan Hornbuckle (Colorado), Sylmar's Tyler Honeycutt and UCLA-bound big men Brendan Lane of Rocklin High and Reeves Nelson of Modesto Christian. The team will be coached by Loyola's Jamal Adams.

The East roster includes Windward's Darius Morris (Michigan), Windward's Malcolm Washington (Penn) and Mater Dei's David and Travis Wear (North Carolina).

The North roster includes Mater Dei's Andy Brown (Stanford) and Bishop Montgomery's Justin Cobbs (Minnesota). The South roster does not include any players from Southern California.

There will be a three-point shooting competition at 6 p.m. followed by the West vs. East game and a slam dunk competition at 8 p.m. followed by the North vs. South game. Tickets are $10 per person and are available through Ticketmaster.
