Four West Valley League teams have opened leads in their City Section quarterfinal games.

Chatsworth has a 2-1 second-inning advantage over Bell in a game that didn’t start until 4:30 p.m. because the Bell bus broke down. Granada Hills is leading Narbonne, 6-3, in the bottom of the fourth inning. Cleveland holds an 8-2 lead over Garfield in the sixth inning. El Camino Real, down 3-1 in the first inning, has opened a 9-3 lead over Banning in the fifth inning.
