Track: Middlebrooks of Fountain Valley shows his speed

There’s a new speedster in Orange County, and his name is Kyle Middlebrooks, a junior at Huntington Beach Fountain Valley.

Middlebrooks swept the sprint events at Saturday’s Orange County championships at Mission Viejo, and the times were excellent. He won the 100 in 10.48 seconds and the 200 in 21.54.

He’s also an outstanding running back in football, having rushed for 1,276 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
