Football: Burfict named top linebacker on All-America team
Corona Centennial linebacker Vontaze Burfict, headed to USC, has been selected the top linebacker on the Parade magazine All-America football team.
Also selected to the team were running back Cierre Wood from Oxnard Santa Clara, lineman Kevin Graf from Agoura and defensive back Patrick Hall from St. Bonaventure.
Garrett Gilbert, a quarterback from Austin, Texas, was selected the player of the year. Gilbert, the son of former NFL quarterback Gale Gilbert, is headed to Texas.

Anything is possible with Burfict. He has grade issues, and that's how ASU has gotten into the picture.
