Coach gets lifetime ban from City Section

Cif_04 The City Section rules committee has imposed a lifetime ban on coaching in the City Section on former Van Nuys Valley Alternative basketball Coach Lee Cration for rules violations.

In other action, El Camino Real's boys' soccer program has been placed on probation and forced to forfeit five games because of an ineligible player who played on an outside team.

Reseda's cross-country program has been placed on probation because of an illegal Saturday practice.  Coach Fernando Fernandez is restricted from coaching in the Regents' first nonleague meet in 2009.

Panorama's athletic program has been placed on one-year probation because of an ineligible player on the football team.

Reseda's boys' soccer team has been banned from this year's playoffs and forced to forfeit games between Dec. 12 and Jan. 10 for using an ineligible player.
