Boys' basketball: Bishop Montgomery gets another big win

Torrance Bishop Montgomery prevailed over Leuzinger, 56-54, Saturday night on two free throws by Richard Solomon with 18 seconds left in a South Bay Extravaganza game at West Torrance.

Bishop Montgomery (16-2), ranked No. 10 by The Times, also knocked off Woodland Hills Taft earlier this season. Leuzinger, ranked No. 8, dropped to 12-4. There were 17 lead changes, according to the Daily Breeze. Now that's two evenly matched teams.
