After St. Bonaventure stopped quarterback Desi Rodriguez on fourth-and-one at the Saugus 49-yard line, the Seraphs needed only three plays to take a commanding 21-0 lead with 3:47 left in the third quarter of tonight’s Northern Division semifinal game at Ventura High.

Logan Meyer found his brother Zach Meyer wide open in the end zone for a 23-yard touchdown. Rodriguez threw an incomplete pass on a fake punt on fourth down to end Saugus’ next possession, giving the Seraphs the ball back at midfield with 2:30 left in the third quarter.
