The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be played Saturday (Jan. 3) at 10 a.m. PT at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The game will be televised live on NBC.

The West team will be coached by Bill Redell (Oaks Christian), and includes a number of Southland players: Mission Viejo QB Allan Bridgford, Corona Centennial LB Vontaze Burfict, Cathedral WR Randall Carroll, Oaks Christian TE Chris Coyle, Inglewood WR Shaquelle Evans, St. Bonaventure DB Patrick Hall, Compton DB Chris Metcalf, Narbonne DB Byron Moore, Arroyo Valley G Michael Philipp and Santa Clara RB Cierre Wood.

The 2009 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game will be played Sunday (Jan. 4) at 5 p.m. PT at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, and will be televised on ESPN.

White team players from the Southland are Mater Dei QB Matt Barkley, Los Osos QB Richard Brehaut, Agoura OT Kevin Graf, and Carson TE Morrell Presley.
